As a matter of fact we have actually tethered the Motorola Q from Verizon with a Macbook for High Speed Internet. We accomplished this by using the USB cable inside the Windows XP (inside our MAC) and it worked great, we got about 230kbps to 650kbps. We also tried it via Blutetooth and OS X and it does work at about 130kbps to 230kbps (but it's wireless!)
Imagine that, finally have a laptop that will run OS X and Windows (flawlessly, and fast) and be able to surf the Internet at High Speeds with no cables!
